Guitarist/Collaborator

Raised in a musical house with a piano and an extensive Roy Orbison vinyl collection, music has been fundamental since the very beginning. Piano recitals, musicals, choir and talent shows were frequent; but the minute his first band Acid Rain hit the Abbot Middle School stage to headline the Water Carnival, everything changed.

Since then, John has supplied guitar work for a ton of diverse bands and filmmakers in San Francisco, Los Angeles and Honolulu; collaborating with nearly everyone qualified who’s asked. Highlights include collaborations with, and accompaniment of, world-class talent including Yvonne Elliman, Shoshana Bean, Jimi Jamison, Jesse Wagner, Chris Lind, Stephen Bishop, Dan Hill, WT Greer and an appearance with Hawaii Symphony Orchestra

He’s enjoyed rocking out in cool SF venues like Hotel Utah, Broadway Studios & Red Devil Lounge; the Derby, Mint & Knitting Factory in LA; Araneta Coliseum in Manila, The Cotton Club in Tokyo and The Republik & Blaisdell Concert Hall in Honolulu
